Third, you can ride piggyback on someone’s impeccable – or at least, more favorable – credit!  It’s elementary, my dear Watson.  You must find someone who will place sufficient trust in your character, reputation and person to allow his credit history to be reflected as part of your own credit history.

For example, you may ask a friend with good credit score to add you as one of his supplementary card holders.  You will then have the benefit of said friend’s good credit history as you own credit history.  In order to persuade him to help your efforts to boost credit score, you can ask him not to provide you with the PIN on the credit. This way, he still maintains full control over his credit line.

Fourth, you have to pay your bills on time.  Yes, it is common sense but one that’s all too uncommon in many individuals.  You must pay your bills, be it for utilities or credit cards or amortizations on material things, so that your credit score gets a boost.  Plus, you can avoid the late fees, penalties and surcharges that bring down your own finances.

Fifth, you have to manage your accounts in the right way.  And when we say manage, we mean that there must still be a debt that needs to be managed.  Thus, you should not entirely pay off your revolving debts as your credit score becomes slightly lower.  It may seem counter-intuitive but it works.

Second, you should not close accounts either.  This is true even when the revolving debts have been paid off in full although we must caution against doing so as paying off all of your debts mean that there is no debt to manage.  Since there are no debts, then the assumption is that you don’t know how to manage credit.

So, what happened when your credit score is very near to scraping the bottom of the pond?  Well, you don’t soak in self-pity in the same pond!  You take the necessary measures to be at the top of the food chain, so to speak, of which the following steps are the most effective. Take note that these steps will demand time, effort and – wait for it – money to accomplish.

First, play the round robin game, which just so happens to be the oldest technique to raise credit score from the near-zero state.  It can now be done with secured credit cards along with secured savings accounts.  The steps are basic as well:

* Open three secured credit cards in succession with different issuers. You should open the succeeding card once you have taken out a 70% cash advance on the credit limit for the card. For each card approved and received, you must take out the 70% cash advance.
* The cash advance on the third card must then be used to open a checking account, which will then be used exclusively to make on-time monthly payments on the three new credit cards.

You have to make sure that there are no delinquencies on any of the three new credit cards and that there are no new accounts opened within 6 months at least.  Although your credit score will drop a few points because of the multiple accounts being opened in a rapid manner, you should be able to raise credit score by as much as 60 points in 60 days.

Fortunately, there are effective, convenient and fast ways to raise your credit score.  Of course, you have to exert time, effort and money for this purpose but the results should be in your favor, which means that your chances for getting that job or being approved for that credit line becomes higher, too.

First, you have to request for a correction or deletion of errors within 48 hours after discovery.  Take note that this can be performed only by the bank or the mortgage company mainly through a Rapid Rescore, which is very different from sending multiple dispute letters.

You also have to complete paperwork in this regard specifically in the presentation of proof against the errors on the credit score, said proof of which can include a release of lien, a bankruptcy discharge and a satisfaction of judgment.

Second, the deletion of negative credit as a way to boost credit score requires writing dispute letters to the credit bureau concerned.  If you have the proof of error as indicated in the Rapid Rescore, you should also attach it to the dispute letter.
